Below is the full transcript of his speech.

In 2024, Feishu hosted its first dedicated launch event for Feishu Projects. We aim to further enhance Feishu’s overall value through this professional project management tool, better support enterprise business process management, and deliver greater value to our customers.

Today, I’d like to share our achievements over the past year using three key numbers.

The first number: 37%. This represents our market share in the SaaS space for software project management scenarios. We are proud to have achieved the top position in this niche segment.

The second number: 100+. Last year, we officially launched our IPD (Integrated Product Development) solution, which has already been adopted by more than 100 customers, including BYD, Li Auto, Bull Group, Atour Hotel, and Shuanghui—covering key client groups across this core scenario.

Feishu Projects IPD Solution Customers

The third number: 3 years. Since Feishu Projects was officially launched in 2022, integrating two core capabilities—software development and IPD—we’ve achieved a leap from zero to industry leadership within just three years.

Feishu Projects has become the premier choice for professional project management tools!

This year, Feishu Projects has also gained the trust of many overseas customers. More than 130 international clients have adopted Meegle, the overseas brand of Feishu Projects, including ZUS Coffee—the second-largest coffee chain in Malaysia, Robotruck—a Japanese leader in autonomous trucking and logistics technology, and Fani—a leading consumer goods import-export trading company in Vietnam. We welcome all our international clients and partners who are joining us here today.

These impressive figures demonstrate the clear market value Feishu Projects has delivered.

Two Core Capabilities

Addressing Uncertainty in Complex Project Management

Many of you here today are new acquaintances. Let me briefly introduce the product capabilities of Feishu Projects.

The value proposition of Feishu Projects can be summarized as: making complex project management clearer and simpler. We achieve this through two core capabilities: first, process visualization, which solves the problem of opacity; second, high configurability, which resolves rigidity and lack of adaptability.

The first core capability is process visualization.

In short, it ensures every phase of a complex project becomes visible, controllable, and predictable.

For example, in a software product iteration project, when the product team says, “We’re waiting for the development team to deliver the feature,” the project manager can immediately see the actual status of the development team: whether the code is complete and awaiting testing, or if they’ve encountered technical hurdles requiring architectural adjustments. Every dependency and bottleneck is instantly visible.

Through visualized node workflows, Feishu Projects enables every participant to see the end-to-end value chain of the project, quickly grasp critical information, and continuously accumulate organizational best practices and experience.

Every stage of a complex project is visible, controllable, and predictable

The second core capability is high configurability.

Each company’s R&D process is unique. Traditional tools are either too limited in functionality or overly cumbersome to operate.

The reality is: internet companies thrive on agile iteration and rapid experimentation; manufacturing companies must account for material management and compliance requirements; and precision manufacturers like automotive companies require rigorous review processes and quality checkpoints.

Feishu Projects allows each enterprise to define its optimal management approach. Within Feishu Projects, everything—from field-level editing permissions to entire business workflows—can be freely customized to meet diverse, personalized business management needs.

Flexible configuration meets individualized needs

In summary, Feishu Projects tackles the uncertainty in complex R&D project management through process visualization and high configurability.

1. Feishu Projects empowers Yadea to make vehicle R&D “visible, tangible, and controllable.”

Yadea Group, a leading player in China’s two-wheeled electric vehicle industry, generates annual revenue exceeding 30 billion yuan, operates over 40,000 retail stores, and sells products in more than 90 countries and regions. As an industry leader, Yadea’s R&D system is extremely complex, involving multiple core departments and encompassing thousands of task nodes from concept design to mass production and delivery.

Previously, Yadea’s project information was scattered across different systems. Tracking progress required manual consolidation from Excel sheets and physical documents, resulting in a “black box” situation where processes lacked transparency and real-time tracking was impossible.

Now, Yadea has established a comprehensive digital IPD system using Feishu Projects, achieving the goal of making complex whole-vehicle R&D processes “visible, tangible, and controllable.”

100% digitization of Yadea’s vehicle R&D process

In terms of process planning, visual swimlane diagrams integrate and display key elements such as timelines, deliverables, and approvals throughout the vehicle development lifecycle. These workflows are customizable, adaptable, and hierarchical, making the entire R&D process transparent at a glance. In terms of control mechanisms, setting approval points as milestones enables intuitive and traceable monitoring of approval statuses, enhancing control over the R&D process.

The results have been remarkable. Yadea has now achieved 100% process digitization and built custom project dashboards, leading to a qualitative leap in project transparency. Management can now access the true status of any project at any time, fundamentally resolving the issue of progress opacity.

2. Makeblock uses Feishu Projects to reduce average new product development cycle by 15%.

Makeblock, a technology-driven company focused on consumer-grade laser tools and STEAM programming robots, launches a series of new products annually, maintaining a high iteration pace to preserve its competitive edge.

Compared to the short lifecycles typical in consumer electronics, smart hardware development cycles are often long and collaboration-intensive. A single project spans multiple specialized domains—including hardware design, software development, supply chain, and testing—and involves over a thousand interdependent tasks. Therefore, project management efficiency directly impacts time-to-market, which in turn affects market share and profitability.

Makeblock builds an end-to-end project battle map

We used scheduling tools to help Makeblock construct a fully visualized, end-to-end project battle map, implementing a three-tier planning breakdown: Level One covers major product development milestones; Level Two includes key activities per functional domain; Level Three consists of specific executable tasks. Schedules across tiers no longer need manual synchronization—our system automatically validates and syncs them. If delays or risks arise, the system automatically issues risk alerts based on baseline plans. For even more complex hardware-software integration scenarios, Feishu Projects supports unified management and parallel development—allowing software requirement trees to be directly attached to hardware TR4 nodes—ensuring alignment between hardware and software development timelines.

The impact after system rollout was immediate. On-time delivery rate for key milestones reached 92%, requirement response cycles shortened by 25%, and incident response speed improved by 50%. Most importantly, we helped Makeblock achieve a breakthrough reduction of 15% in average product development cycle—securing valuable time-to-market advantages in the fiercely competitive consumer electronics landscape.

Simplicity Conquers Complexity, Enabling Extraordinary Creation

Advancing Together with China's Manufacturing Industry onto the Global Stage

The above examples represent two distinct industries and management scenarios, yet both achieved the same outcome: clearer and simpler complex project management.

The true value of Feishu Projects does not lie in having the most complex features, but in its ability to simplify complexity. This is precisely the direction we have consistently pursued.

Today, Feishu Projects will announce its most significant platform upgrade to date. Additionally, to meet broader customer needs, we are launching a standalone version of Feishu Projects. Even users who do not adopt the full Feishu suite can now leverage Feishu Projects to manage complex engineering initiatives.

Finally, I’d like to share two observations from a broader historical perspective.

First, China’s manufacturing industry is encountering an unprecedented opportunity for ascent. From “Made in China” to “Smart Made in China,” we are no longer followers but leaders. This is the era of Chinese manufacturing—an important moment to help shape new global industry standards.

And the key to seizing this opportunity lies in successful digital transformation.

This leads to my second observation: the choice of tools determines the success or failure of enterprise transformation. When we talk about “Smart Made in China,” what supports it behind the scenes are highly efficient digital management tools. This is not merely a software procurement decision—it is a strategic choice affecting future competitiveness. Choosing the right tools brings advantage; choosing poorly may mean missing critical opportunities. I firmly believe that wise decisions made today will deliver long-term competitive advantages for enterprises.

At this historic juncture, we recognize that our responsibility extends beyond commerce—it is a mission of our times. Going forward, we will not only simplify complexity but also empower simplicity to generate extraordinary outcomes.

Simplicity conquers complexity, enabling extraordinary creation. Just as this year’s conference theme suggests, it symbolizes not only the pursuit of Feishu Projects but also the confidence of China’s manufacturing industry as it steps onto the world stage.
